Burlington Segways is the #1 Activity for Burlington on Trip Advisor and Yelp. They offer one and two hour Segway tours of the Burlington Bike Path, Waterfront Park, Battery Park, downtown Burlington, the Church street Marketplace and UVM on the all electric, eco-friendly, two wheeled, self balancing Segway. Over six miles altogether for the two hour tour. Much further than most people can comfortably walk in twice that time. The Segway of course is the latest personal transportation device that operates like nothing you have ever experienced. Lean forward and it goes forward. Lean back and it stops. Turn from side to side with a combination of lean and steering column appropriately called lean steer. These machines are fun to ride for everyone 12 years of age to 90. They are a godsend for people with disabilities that can’t walk long distances. As you effortlessly glide along under electric power your tour guide will deliver an interesting narrative of the history of Burlington from its birth in 1783 to the present by radio. Each tour also includes a Tailing Assistant to assist those that need it. Burlington Segways can accommodate up to 18 guests at once. Advance booking is highly recommended as they tend to fill up tours in July and August. Burlington Segways is located within a short walk of all downtown hotels.
