This 168-acre park located right on the top of Mt. Philo was created in 1924, making it Vermont’s oldest state park. Hike to the top and take in the spectacular views of the Lake Champlain Valley and the ancient Adirondack Mountain range. This park is a great place to go camping; hot showers and flush toilets are also available to make your family-friendly camping experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Also be sure to bring your swimsuit as there are some great swimming holes at nearby parks!
